My Iris has alot of differnet colors blended into it, the rims of my Iris are dark, maybe navy blue, then it abruptly changes to a light shade of baby blue, and it mixes with green as you move toward the center. Surrounding the pupil is a straight yellow, which spikes outward to the edge of the mix of green and baby blue.
No one else in my family has anything like this, exept my baby sister has the navy blue rims in hers.
QUESTION: is this very common? a mix of yellow blue green?Eye Color?

Genetics is not the same thing as genealogy. However, we have genes from all our ancestors. You might even have some things about your appearance that doesn't show up in either of your parents as they carry recessive genes for things they passed on to you.
I have green eyes and my son's dad has bright blue. My son has two distinct starbursts......outer ring is green, the inner ring is blue....they are sooooooo beautiful!

Sounds like hazel to me. My eyes look like green and brown with a tinge of yellow.
