Can you predict your heritage from eye color?

My outer iris is green in the inner part is reddish brown. I already know that I'm part Italian and Vietnamese. My dad is also, and that's all he is. My mother is Vietnamese, but has no idea what her other half is.Can you predict your heritage from eye color?
No you cannot predict your heritage for you eye colour because that is all genetics. If you want to know what your heritage is, you can get blood work done and the doctor can tell you. Good luck finding out!Can you predict your heritage from eye color?
By definition a prediction is the conjecture of a future event. You already exist and have eye color, that isn't a prediction it is an observation. There may indeed be a propensity for certain ethinic origins to have a certain iris pigmentation. You also seem to have some knowledge about your heritage as part Italian and Vietnamese.


That's fabulous and a combination many would celebrate. Now that you know that much, do some research. Trace your family backward from you to your parents, and then your grandparents, and greats.

Eye color? No. DNA (whether from hair, blood, rubbing your cheeks with special swabs, etc., YES).

sometimes... like (this is just an example) i have really dark eyes because im italian and i also have a darker hair color. my skin is a lighter color because my dads side of the family is irish..

you are probably 3/4 Vietnam and 1/4 Italian this is just an example.


Then there is a 3/4 chance that you get the genes that your dad has from his Vietnam and your moms.
you probably get the green part from your italian side, it's very unlikely for a vietnamese person to have green or blue eyes, or you could get it from whatever else your mother is.
NO YOU ARE BORN WITH MUSCLES IN YOUR EYES THAT ALREADY HAVE COLOR TO THEM THATS WHAT GIVES YOU YOUR EYE COLOR . DNA ALSO HAS TO DO WITH IT .
If you use a punnet square, you could predict the chances. thats the best you can do as far as I know.
I dont think so but you can if you know that your grandfather has blue eyes or something like that...
