My daughter is the same. Her eyes are bright blue just like her Mummys. Her brother had kind of inbetween coloured eyes for the first few months and they eventually turned brown like his Daddy. I tend to think if they are bright blue they probably wont change. But it does take up to a year for them to fix at a certain colour.
As for all having different coloured eyes, my mum had brown eyes and my dad has blue. They had three children, one had blue eyes, one brown and one green. Weird!How old when are babies when thyey start getting their eye color?
They don't get set until about 2 years old, until then they can really change a lot. They say by 6 months you should have a better idea what color they will be. It is very common for babies to be born with blue eyes but they can change. My oldest son had like a grayish color then around 6 months they were blue and when he turned 2 they were blue but then turned hazel when he was mad. With my other son he had black eyes like the eyes were the same color as his pupils and by 6 months they were a little lighter 2 years old they settled on a chocolate brown.
Permanent eye color is not set until a baby is at least nine months old, so wait until your child's first birthday to determine what color they will be.
All babies are born with blue eyes because it takes light to change the pigment. It will be a few more months until they do change.
