Eye COlor?

this may be a dum question, but i got an outter gray color around my eye....the rim is gray, but the rest of my eye is brown, what does this mean? that someone in my family genetics has gray eyes?Eye COlor?
it may be that someone in your family had blue eyes or gray eyes. My brothers eyes are a grayish blue, and all the rest of us are just blue.

That's how my eyes are like too...it's strange the edges are greyish but the majority of my iris is dark brown
